This includes people from more than 30 different countries. Inscribed in stone, their names have never, until now, been brought together. DONEC TRISTIQUE DOLOR ARCU, VEL ACCUMSAN MI ACCUMSAN VEL.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On 6 June 2021, 77 years on, an historic moment took\u00a0place as the Memorial was officially opened.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Opening Ceremony was presided over by then British Ambassador to France, Lord Edward Llewellyn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>On 6 June 2022, the 78th anniversary of D-Day, the Memorial was for the first time the focal point of the commemorations in Normandy, as a place where people could come together to remember and reflect.
